  • PHP widget

I'm really missing the Text/PHP widget that Catalyst comes with. I have PHP code in widgets in several of the websites I've built. Genesis Framework seems to lack that functionality.

+1, I have now to use PHP Exec plugin to do this but the less plugin I use, the happier I am...

Also I would like to be able to execute PHP inside posts if I want to (something which should be possible to enable/disable sitewide as it can cause problems when there is multiple users...e.g. blog open to new authors)

+1, if Eric truly wants us to migrate over to the new product, we need greater compatibility with Catalyst without having to rely on third-party plugins. Even if he just creates a "Catalyst Migration Plugin for Dynamik" with the functionality of missing Catalyst items.

I recommend using this plugin for that http://wordpress.org/plugins/php-text-widget/

Thanks Jason. But it still should be built-in to DWB.

+1 One of the great things I loved about Catalyst was not having to install a bunch of 3rd party plugins. It was mostly ready to go straight out of the box.

It would be a great addition to have in DWB.
