Hopefully I've missed something but it doesn't look like it...

Assuming I write a PHP error leading to the "blank screen of death" in the custom function window... the only way to solve it is to use php myadmin to change the wp_options table "dynamik_gen_custom_functions" field ???

This s*cks big time ! It's the same crappy behavior that Thesis had and that luckily Catalyst didn't have as it used an external .php file instead of storing php code in the DB.

PHP code must be stored in PHP files... not in the DB !!!

    Custom Functions are written to

    wp-content/uploads/dynamik-gen/theme/custom-functions.php

Seems like there is a copy stored where you indicated... but the php code EXECUTED is the one stored in the DB.

This is clearly a BIG MESS...

In my experience, if a Custom Function error is introduced, editing and saving the above file fixes the problem. Is it different for you?

What happens if you delete wp-content/uploads/dynamik-gen/theme/custom-functions.php ?
