  • copying and pasting from other sources

I have always taken existing customer content and copied/pasted it into a basic text editor, then recopied it before pasting into WordPress. I may be taking on a really large, text-heavy site with alot of anchors and hyperlinks and would hate to have to recreate those, so a Google search told me that the "paste from Word" button is now missing from the WordPress toolbar, because WP has become smarter and will strip out all of the millions of lines of extraneous stylesheet code it used to carry with it. I did a quick test and that seems accurate, but thought I'd post the question here to see if any of you have had good luck or bad luck doing this... Any tips are welcome! It sure would save on my cost estimate considerably if I don't have to reenter all these links.

    Thanks!
