  • How can I reduce height of a widget on my home page?

    Hi I want to reduce the height of the second widget on my home page

    The widget is: #front-page-1

    I want to incude a quote within this block but currently there is so much top and bottom padding (or margin) that it's just way to high.

    I have used inspect element in chrome and firebug in firefox to try to find the right part of the widget to either reduce the margins or padding but everything I try doesn't work. Just when i think I've got there I realise that whatever settings I've chosen have also affected other widgets, which i DON'T want. I want to localise the changes to just this widget.

    Can somebody point me in the right direction please?

    Try the code below - added to custom-css - change/adjust padding and margins to suit

    Code:
    #front-page-1 .wrap {
     padding:20px;
    }

    #front-page-1 .wrap p {
     margin: 0;
     padding:10px
    }
